More than a month before our wedding date(7 Oct 2023), we gave our final guest total (less than we thought it would be) and they refused to pay our money back! They still owe us more than R12 000!
The owner said we signed that we can’t decrease the amount of guests, but we sent the contract that we signed to our lawyer who said there’s no place in the contract that stipulates we’re not allowed to decrease the minimum amount of guests! Our lawyer sent her a letter and gave her 14 days to pay our money back.
The only way she can save the reputation of her wedding venue is to admit that she’s wrong and pay our money back!
